Production Blog: Before Filming
Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. So today, this blog will be about everything that needs to get done before filming actually starts. Which included: costumes, props, and organizing with the actors. So as said in a previous blog the filming won't actually take place until the 14 but to be prepared, I want to write everything out. First on the list is costumes. When drawing the storyboard, I didn't really pay attention to what the actors were wearing and just made them with different clothes, so it was easier to distinguish from each other. However, because of the time and season of February in Florida, shorts might not be the best choice. Recently it has been so cold, and especially at night that I rather have the actors wear something cozier and warmer. But that all depends on the weather and temperature of the dates. I might change my mind and change it to shorts. Second on the list is props. Props is the simpler one to complete since we almost have everything already in hand. Basically, the props consist of the actors' phones, and depending on if the storyboard changes a fake knife, but that still has yet to be decided. And lastly the third item on the list is organizing with the actors. I just want this filming process to run smoothly so a want to pay extra detail to our schedule. If for whatever reason one of them cannot make it to the day schedule for filming, it will not ruin the recording too much. I made sure to give us extra time so that if something does happen everything will be ok. Ok now that is all I wanted to write about. My next blog be the actual filming process. So, stay tone and I'll see y'all in my next blog!
