Final Task Planning: Script

Script  

Location: Sophia’s house  

Two friends are getting ready to go meet up with a couple friends at the park.  

 

Location: Sophia’s bedroom  

Camila 

Sophia, Are you ready? 

From a distance. 

Sophia 

Yeah, give me a sec. 

 

Sophia exits the bathroom heading towards the bed, where she left her belongings. 

 

Camila 

Alright, let’s go before we’re late. 

They exit the room, Camila grabs her belongings. 

 

Location: Outside the house 

 

The two begin to walk to their destination. 

Sophia 

What time are we supposed to be meeting up with Liz at the park? 

Camila 

I’m pretty sure she said by 8:30. 

Sophia 

Oh, alright hopefully we get there in time. 

Camila 

It’s fifteen minutes away so we might get there earlier, we could stop by the gas station if you want. 

Sophia  

It’s all good, let's just get there first.  

 

Location: The sidewalk further down the street  

Camila 

Bro, idk if it's just me but why is it creepy walking down this dark street.  

Sophia  

I was just thinking about that. Like someone can come up to us and kidnap us or something. 

Camila 

Don’t say that. That can be really scary.  

Sophia  

*laughs* imagine something pops out right now? What would you do?  

Camila 

I would run away in fear.  

 

They try to laugh it off. They continue to walk in paranoid silence. But then Sophia heard footsteps coming from behind them. Sophia looks behind them.  

Camila 

what’s wrong? 

Sophia   

I thought I heard footsteps. I guess it was just nothing.   

Camila 

  What? I didn’t hear anything.  

Sophia  

It’s fine. Let’s just keep walking.  

 

As they turned the corner, they noticed a figure from a far. They look at each other.  

Sophia  

I wonder who that could be.  

They walked further down. They got a closer view of the figure.  

Camila  

Oh, look, its Marissa. Wait it is, let's go say hi. Hey, Marissa, what are you doing here?  

Marissa   

Nothing much, I just decided to go on a late-night stroll. What about you?  

Camila 

We were just making our way to the park to meet up with some friends.  

Marissa 

That’s nice. If you don’t mind, could I come with you?  

 

Camila looks at Sophia who shrugs.  

Camila 

Yeah, no problem you can come with.  

 

As they were walking the two friends felt more at ease knowing that nothing could happen to them as they are in a group walking together.  

Camila 

When we saw you, we kind of thought that you were a sketchy person standing around the corner.  

 

They all laugh.  

Marissa   

No, don’t worry. I wouldn’t do anything.  

 

Sophia looked at Camila, but Camila didn’t realize. As they continued their journey to the park, Sophia seemed a little uneasy but just shrugged it off as her friend seemed more at ease.
