Production Blog: At the BEACH!!
Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. So, in this blog I will write about my time at the beach. Like I said in my previous blog, the first location that the group decided to film is at the beach. However, something different is the location of the beach. On a previous blog I said that it was gonna be the Fort Lauderdale beach, but it changed last minute to another one that's more secluded. Also, the group finally decided on who is going to be the main actor and it was my friend Camila. So, that mean that I filmed the majority of the film. But since this project does need a side character, I am going to be one of them. Back to the actual filming process of the beach scene. My mom took us to the beach, with props and costume on. When at the beach, the filming began as soon as possible. I recorded the MC walking along the shorelines, with a tracking shot. And since the storyboard included a wallpaper for the MC phone, I changed my wallpaper to match the vibe and aesthetic of the original. When I was doing the research on what is usually seen in the genre of the music video, many of them had high angle, low angle, and a zoom. So, I knew I wanted to include them all plus more. Then, because we need a message to pop up, I asked my mom to send a message to my phone, so it shows the MC received a text. Next, I zoomed in on the phone, so the message was displayed. And then after that, since all of the middle part of the music video takes place on another location. We transitioned to the end. At the end its just more tracking shots, plus I joined in as a side character that walked along with the MC for a bit. I took my sweater off, handed it to her and disappeared. And that's where the beach scene end. Thank you for reading this. In my next blog, I will write about the filming process of the middle part of the story that takes place inside.
