Production Blog: Finalizing Commercial
Hey it's me again. In this blog I will be talking about my final product. So, in my last blog I ended it with me putting all the medias together. With that video it's four photos, two videos and one song. So, now that the video is in order the total amount is around forty second. When I was looking over it, it looked weird since there was no transition. The first picture which was of myself when I was a baby, in that one I do not have any transition. But in the second picture the editing transition is called pull in. This transition is basically pulling in the next picture, while the previous picture zooms away. The second transition is the third picture to the fourth. It goes from me as a young tween to me as a teenager. In this editing technique is called fade in. Basically, the picture of my younger self is slowly fading out and the picture of teenager me slowly fades in. Then it starts to jump from picture to video. In this transition the picture, in a way, flips to the video. I thought this would look cool since the other were just basic transitions. Finally, the last editing is from video to video. In this edit the first video slides and the next video slides up to be the new one. When I chose this, I thought it would look good since it goes to a horizontal shot. At the end of watching, it I decided to add text to the first four medias. The first text I added was "Sophia's Life", the second is "Toddler Sophia", the third one "Tween Sophia" and finally the fourth one "Teenager Me". And that is it for my whole process of making this commercial.
Thank you so much for reading!
