Welcome to Sophia's World!

Hi, my name is Sophia Villeda Merayo. I'm a 16-year-old junior at Fort Lauderdale High school. I am a Hispanic girl; my mom is from Argentina and my dad is from Guatemala. I have two siblings, one older brother and one younger sister, both of my siblings are on my dad's side. My older brother is eight years older, and my younger sister is ten years younger than me. I have one dog, he is a toy Pomeranian, and we rescued him three years ago right before covid. My favorite music genres are RnB, Pop and K-pop. Some of my favorite hobbies to do are reading, binge watching shows and hanging out with my friends. The best book series, in my opinion, is The Folk Air Series, this series has three books in total with two side books. One of my favorite movies and series are How to Train Your Dragon, and Dragon Race to the Edge. Some other shows that I love are Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, and The 100. I also enjoy watching anime and reading the Mangas. Some of my favorite animes are Fairy Tail, Naruto, Boruto Naruto Next Generation, Horimiya and Attack on Titans. I have two best friends, we met in school freshman year and since we've met, we haven't separated. Two of my favorite subjects at school are math and art. Not to be that person, but I do think I'm pretty good at math. I'm not the best math student, but I'm also not the worst. And with art, I'm average at drawing, but I do love it. My New Years goal was to travel as much as I could and go to concerts. I accomplished one of my goals which was to travel. During summer my family went on a road trip, we went up to Washington DC for two days and I got to see the White House along with other monuments. After that we went up to New York where we stayed for four days. In those four days we did a lot, we did the basic tourist activities like the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State building, Time Square, and the Bull. And finally, when coming back down we stopped by Georgia, and stayed with some family. Last, I travel by myself to Guatemala to go see family, and while being there, they took me to El Salvador. Thats it for now, Thank you!
