Production Blog: Postcard Redo
Hey everyone, it’s me again Sophia. So a couple blogs ago I wrote about making my postcard. I said that if I made any changes to it I would let y’all know. I did make changes, actually I just redid the whole thing. I kept looking back at the postcard and didn’t like it. It was so bland and not really catching my attention. So, I did more research on World War Two postcard and found the perfect idea. I went on Canva and searched up postcard and found the perfect template. I just had to change the colors to make it fit with war. So the changed it to two different muted greens. While doing my research I found that postcards had typewriters font, so I used the closed font to that. Then I also found that they tended to have stamps that said the date. I had to find a way to get the images onto the postcard without it messing up the design. I found a website that allows me to erase the background and only keep the parts I want. It was something new that I didn’t know existed but once I did I used it for everything. The front of the page has majority of the information. The showtime the dates and what film festival will screen it. The back includes the QR code and the social media handles. Well that is it for todays blog. I am glad I redid the postcard because I truly feel that it immerses the audience more into the film. I’ll see you in my next blog Byeee
