Production Blog: Gear

 

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog, it's Sophia. In today's blog, I will talk about what has been happening since my last blog. So, we have started our filming process. Well, technically we haven't actually filmed the actual shots that we will use for the film content, but we have begun our rehearsal. Practice is very important, especially with how long the script is. I will not be in the film, but I will be on standby as well as being the director. Ok so now into the actual gear. the whole team has decided that we will be filming the whole short film on an iPhone, mine to be exact. The reason for this is because it is the most convenient as well as the most reliable at the moment. Since I have never used an actual filming camera, I thought it was best that we use an iPhone. iPhone is known for having amazing filming lenses. I have been practicing with different materials in using the cinematic mode on the iPhone camera. It will also make editing easier because I can just transfer the video to my editing software. It will also save me time as I won't have to learn how to transfer footage from a cam recorder. Welp, that is it for today. Thank you for reading up on this.
