Movie Research: Five Nights at Freddy’s

 What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? 

• A couple convections that this movie has was the settings and lighting which was outside late at night. Inside the house was dim lighting. The costumes as well were pretty casual for a regular day. The acting in this movie creates a feeling of suspense and waiting for something to happen.  

What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked? 

• The conventions that I really liked in this movie was the buildup of suspense that came from the acting and storyline. Another thing was that for the costumes they didn’t go over the top. The lighting help create a better vision for the viewers which I really enjoyed seeing.  

What conventions of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you and you are thinking of not filming for your final task? 

• The movie was really good. However, one thing that I didn’t enjoy while watching was how the plot was not very consistent and was being changed up a lot. For the final task it’d be best for the storyline to not change too much.
